 If It Fields Good, Do It!AGAIN - It's A Gift (1934)
And William Claude Dukenfeld sure was a gift to us all and replete with
quintessential quips and acerbic asides, a daunting act to follow and
his shoes to this day remain unfilled. This is one of his grandest -
with a little help from Baby Le Roy, his tiniest nemesis ever and I am talking off
the screen but on the record here. Fields actually feared that lickul Le Roy
would create a bigger splash than he ever could, and as he was already none
too keen on the younger set, we are talking zero tolerance, he dreaded working with
the youngin. Fields once famously
administered a bit of a gin in baby LeRoys 'ba-ba' to calm him during a tantrum
But in the end here, it's a diamond and your knees will be slapped and expect to hoot and holler

in vociferous fashion, because it's a scream!

If it Fields good do it - It's The Old Army Game Mr Dukenfield stars vis a vis the bobbed beauty Miss Brooks doing his signature asides silently. This little chickadee of a picture was based on some of the comedy sketches Fields was kown on the Vaudeville circuit for. From 1926.
